Museum Tour

Meeting Street byAlfred Hutty
Gibbes Museum of Art

Are you looking for a little bit of inspiration as the streets heat up and summer keeps chugging along?  I might be a bit late to the party but I am kind of thrilled to learn about the Google Art Project!  Have you seen it?  It is as close as I am going to get to museum hopping this summer as I stay home and recover from my c-section.

It is full of classic works but has also introduced me to some artists and major works of art that I had not ever heard of before (and I was an art history major at SMU so it is hard for me to admit that!)  You feel like you are touring the major museums of the world.

Anyway, play around on GoogleArtProject.com for a few minutes or a few hours.  I know you will enjoy it.
