I love Gracie wallpapers.  I mean LOVE love love!

The photo at the top is my dining room and the Gracie paper is silver.  It just glows at night during a dinner party.

I wanted to do a pretty pink Gracie paper in the new baby nursery, but I don't think it is very practical so I am thinking of using the pretty pale pink linen for drapes from Mary McDonald for Schumacher below.  What do you think?

At Home With Kim: Our Dining Room

Our dining room is one of my favorite rooms in our house.  When we were house hunting, I kept insisting on finding a dining room I could put a round table in.  We ended up moving a few walls around to help me accomplish my goal but I am so happy with the room.  The Gracie wallpaper just "made it" and was well worth the wait!

Here is a view of the same room staged by our designer, Jan Showers, for an Elle Decor ad for her collection.  It is obviously on the home page of her beautiful website as well.

The back wall has two doors that are papered just like the walls so that they are not a distraction.
Isn't it fun to see it both ways?  It makes me want to mix things up a bit!

OH....p.s. for all of you tabletop addicts:  I love the way my Herend Rust Bouquet China picks up the orange-y glass in the chandelier.
