Tablescape Tuesday: Wine Cellar Celebration

My sister hosted an intimate dinner in a wine cellar for her husband's 40th recently. It was a beautiful night filled with heartfelt toasts, great wine and food and decor based on his passion for hunting.

A detail of the masculine place settings.

Candles, Antlers, Leaves, pinecones and other natural elements filled the center of the table.

Crystal and mercury glass added touches of sparkle to the table.

These shot shell place cards from Ancessorie were a hit!

I loved the charm and character of the warn leather chairs.

A cake only a hunting enthusiast could love!

Get in line for Bernard Maisner and Julia B's collaborative collection!

I can hardly wait for the beautiful collaboration between two of my favorite artists to be available starting in September.  Bernard Maisner has been my go-to calligrapher for special projects since I got married eight years ago.   Julia B. is the creator of a gorgeous line of linens that impresses even the most discerning eye.  They have now joined forces to create a magnificent line of linens featuring Bernard's intricate designs.

Above is a selection of Bernard Maisner's beautiful Tree Cards.  Below is the gorgeous embroidery on linen created by Julia B for the new Bernard Maisner for Julia B. collection.  Isn't it beautiful?

Big News! I am so excited!

This idea has been years in the making, and I could not be more excited to make this dream a reality!
Today we are launching The RSVP List! It is the ultimate resource guide for all the things that I love in Dallas.
It all began when I started getting asked more and more for recommendations on everything from florists to car services, so I wanted to put all of my favorites in one place and make them accessible to you! This isn't just your average directory though; these vendors have been hand-selected by my team as the best of the best to work with. I have so many favorites that I haven't included all of them yet. That's where you can come in! Do you have a recommendation? Do you want to apply to be on "The List?"
Email me at rsvp@rsvpcalendar.com!

Calling all Calligraphers!

If you love calligraphy as much as I do then I know you are going to drop your pen right now to head out to The Dallas Calligraphy Society's exhibit of original works in a varity of lettering styles.  Now, if you think you are going to head out to see a bunch of envelopes and invitations, think again!  The range of pieces is amazing!  Some of them are ancient.  Some of them are modern.  They are all true works of art though!
The free exhibit is up through August 29th at the Irving Arts Center Main Gallery.
If the exhibit inspires you to hone your calligraphic craft then check out the list of Kaligrafos Workshops and area classes listed on The Dallas Calligraphy Society's website.
