James A. Savage, Jr. is the Chief of Security Operations for a leading global energy company. This Corporate Security Group is known for its oil and gas ventures and also includes a diverse range of other business units which operate across the globe, including Yemen, Peru and Northern Iraq. The Corporate Security Group is responsible for all matters relating to the protection of critical corporate assets, pro-active preventive strategies, and emergency preparedness programs.
Prior to this position, Jim was a member of the Senior Executive Service and served in a number of protective and investigative positions during his 20 year career as a special agent with the U.S. Secret Service.
Mr. Savage is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and served as a State Trooper for four years with the Texas Department of Public Safety before starting his Federal law enforcement career with the U.S. Secret Service in 1983.
